The storage bag is made from 600D Oxford fabric. This is a strong, high-quality, water-resistant fabric designed for storing and carrying heavy metal poles. It is made for long-term use and strong durability.

The sukkah fabric is high-quality parachute-style fabric made from 100% polyester. The fabric is breathable, airy, and washable. It is designed to be practical for Sukkos use while allowing airflow inside the sukkah.

The fabric is not waterproof. It is airy and breathable, which is important for sukkah use. A fully sealed waterproof fabric would not be ideal for this type of sukkah wall.

First, make sure the iron frame is fully assembled, stable, and adjusted to the size you want. Spread out the fabric and make sure the correct side is facing up. Begin attaching the fabric from one of the upper corners of the frame. Continue along the top of the frame, securing the fabric at each connection point. After the top is attached, continue down the sides from top to bottom while keeping the fabric tight. Finally, attach the lower section, check that there are no loose areas or wrinkles, and make sure the door and windows are positioned correctly. If the fabric has metal rings at the top, use the included zip ties for extra attachment to the frame.

The fabric is a multi-window fabric designed for better light and airflow inside the sukkah. Smaller sukkah setups usually include 3 fabric sections with 3 windows each, plus another fabric section with a door and 2 windows, for a total of 11 windows and a door. Larger sukkah setups may include additional extension fabric. The final number of windows depends on the sukkah size, but each fabric setup includes multiple windows.

The fabric comes in separate sections rather than one continuous piece. This gives you more flexibility because you can arrange the fabric sections in the order you prefer and choose where the windows and door should be positioned around the sukkah.

For the 4×5 to 8×10 SukkahFlex sukkah package, 2 free 5×10 schach rolls are included. For larger sukkah sizes or custom setups, additional schach may be needed depending on the final size.

Yes. The mehadrin schach comes with a reusable storage and carrying bag, designed for repeated use and long-term storage.

The schach comes packaged in fixed sizes, and we do not shorten it before delivery. If you decide to cut the schach yourself after purchase, it is possible, but we cannot take responsibility for it. If you cut it, you must tie the cut edge securely to prevent the schach from unraveling.

Bamboo schach is not expected to grow mold in the same way as some other schach materials, such as papyrus or reed-style mats that absorb water. Since bamboo is not sponge-like, rain rolls off instead of soaking in, which helps prevent mold from forming. Proper dry storage after Sukkos is still important.

Yes. The schach mats are steamed and disinfected against pests before packaging for 48 continuous hours, in order to help prevent pests from attaching to the schach. This process is intended to keep the mats clean from insects and pests.

The sukkah frame and Lavud straps are designed to support a kosher sukkah setup when installed correctly. The spacing between the Lavud straps is made to be under the required halachic distance, and the wall height they create is over one meter. The schach must be made from kosher plant material and placed properly above the sukkah. For current certification details, please visit our Kosher Certificates page. For a specific halachic situation, ask your rabbi.

The sukkah package includes 4 Lavud straps. They should be placed according to the setup instructions. The straps are long enough to cover 3 walls. Start by tying the strap to the pole of the first wall, then wrap the Lavud strap around each frame pole until it covers the 3 walls being used for Lavud. The height from the ground to the upper Lavud strap is over one meter, and the spacing between the straps is less than 3 tefachim. If you are unsure, follow the manual carefully and ask your rabbi.
